With an LPS, tool batteries are always fully charged.
Case study: Lundgaard Carpenter and Assembly
With an LPS, tool batteries are always fully charged.
“The LPS means I always have power on the job. My batteries are always fully charged,” says carpenter Ulrich Lundgaard, who owns the company “Lundgaard Tømrer og Montage” (Lundgaard Carpenter and Assembly).

3000 Watts LPS in the van
Ulrich Lundgaard works at OK’s petrol stations in Denmark, where he has no access to a power supply. He therefore had a 3000 W LPS installed in his van. It has made his working day a lot easier.

"When I arrive, the LPS is always fully charged, because it charges while I’m driving."
An LPS II 3000 W from Clayton Power is an all-in-one power solution with a powerful, built-in lithium battery. It supplies 230 V with 13000 W peak power plus 12 V for all installed equipment. The system can be charged by the vehicle while driving, by solar panels or directly from the mains.
Savings in the working day.
“When I arrive, the LPS is always fully charged, because it charges while I’m driving.” For Ulrich Lundgaard, that means less wasted time, less fuel consumption and fewer unnecessary engine hours. Instead of keeping the van idling to power a traditional inverter system — or bringing a generator to site — the LPS delivers ready-to-use power directly from the vehicle. Batteries charge while the working day moves on, so power is available when and where it is needed.

It is essential that the tool batteries are always charged.
Drilling in concrete is hard work, and Ulrich uses 6-8 batteries.
Cordless tools in use every day.
Ulrich Lundgaard mounts protection islands on the ground at the gas station preventing vehicles from damaging the fuel dispenser. He must drill directly into concrete to be able to fasten the protection islands on the ground. It is very hard to drill in concrete and he uses 6-8 batteries to be able to mount everything at 1 gas station. It is extremely important that the tool batteries are always charged, so he does not waste any time during the day. The batteries are constantly charging in the vehicle.
The LPS is convenient.
Lundgaard Carpenter and Assembly also works for kitchen companies. Installing kitchens involves a lot of adjustments. “Instead of getting power from a house or an apartment, I can do the necessary cutting and adjustments in the van. I take power directly from the LPS. A table saw drawing 2200 W is no problem for the LPS,” says Ulrich Lundgaard.
